Psychodelic music

Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see...this is an extract of a song coming from the Beatles, which relates in a certain way the way of living in the late 60's: being free, love your neighbour and get "stoned". Psychodelia or Pyschodelic music refers to experimentation in music, just like experimenting with drugs, fashion, ideas, furniture and decoration, political ideas, images, and of course sounds and instrumental forms in music.

In an approach, many musicians of that decade tested with drugs and other pharmaceutical items to "trascend through music", as a consequence, and with an excesive abuse of prohibited substances, many well known artist of that time passed away, leavin as their legacy their art.

Tradicional people would agree that drugs are impproper, as well as other over reactions like violence, noise and aggressiveness in any form are inconvenient, unsuitable and out of place.

Nevertheless, by itself psychodelic music brought of the opportunity for artists and musicians to create a whole different spectre in musical industry, transforming sounds, and going beyond, I mean, transforming lives radically and enourmously, so that as consequence we can distinguish in current rock bands the echos of that era.
